PitneyTrack Inbound Release Notes version 1.130.0 (August 27, 2026)
Products affected: PitneyTrack® Inbound, PitneyTrack® Mobile App
What's New
Enhanced Bulk Contact deletion and management
This enhancement improves Bulk Contact Deletion by enabling large volumes of contacts to be deleted more efficiently and reliably. Previously, bulk deletion requests involving thousands of contacts could fail due to processing limitations. With this update, large-scale deletion requests are processed asynchronously, improving performance, scalability, and reliability.
The contact management experience has also been streamlined with new deletion options, including Delete All Shared Contacts, Delete All Private Contacts, and Delete Selected Contacts. Users can specify whether deletion applies to recipients or recipients and senders, while maintaining existing protections for sender records where applicable.
Additional controls have been introduced for shared contacts, allowing administrators to restrict contact visibility to specific user roles. To help prevent accidental data loss, verified sender contacts are now protected from bulk deletion and can only be removed individually. Existing sender deletion behavior remains unchanged, ensuring consistency for current workflows and plan-specific requirements.
Latest Updates
Enhanced Address Book Search experience
This enhancement improves the Address Book search experience by making it faster and easier for users to find contacts during shipping workflows. Search results are now automatically ranked by relevance, eliminating the need to manually select Begins With, Contains, or Ends With search filters.
The updated search logic prioritizes contacts that begin with the search term, followed by contacts that contain the term, and then those that end with it. When a contact matches multiple criteria, the most relevant result is displayed first. These improvements provide a more intuitive search experience while continuing to return a complete set of matching contacts.
Web browser: Recent selections for Faster Data entry
This enhancement improves the web browser application by introducing Recent selections for Departments, Recipients, and Senders, making frequently used selections quicker and easier to access.
Each dropdown now displays a Recent section containing the last three items selected for that field, while all other available options continue to appear below. Recent selections are stored at the user level and persist across sessions, allowing users to access them even after signing out and back in. When a new item is selected, the list is automatically updated to retain only the three most recent selections. If an item already exists in the list, it is moved to the top rather than duplicated.
This enhancement also adds the Recent Selections icon to previously retained Carrier selections and extends recent selection functionality to the Assigned To field on the PitneyTrack Asset Management Add and Manage Asset pages. Recent values are also available when viewing previously saved transactions, helping streamline data entry and improve user productivity.
Web browser: Package Count added to Exported PDF reports
This enhancement improves exported PDF reports by displaying the total number of unique packages included in the report. The package count now appears in the report header under the Total Packages heading, giving users immediate visibility into the report contents.
By providing the package count directly in the report, users can quickly confirm the scope of the export without having to manually review and count individual report entries.
Web browser: Delivery via Manifest Field Configuration for Mobile App
This enhancement adds a new Delivery via Manifest page to the Mobile App Input Field Options, giving administrators greater control over field visibility, behavior, and layout for package deliveries completed through the Manifest workflow.
The new page allows administrators to configure and reorder fields such as Recipient/Department, Sender, Carrier, Carrier Service, Comment, PO Number, Cost Account, and Custom Fields. For PitneyTrack Enterprise (PTE) clients using the Admin Console, the Given To, Status, and Location fields remain fixed at the top of the page, while all other supported fields can be rearranged.
The enhancement also supports multi-site configuration, allowing administrators to apply Delivery via Manifest field settings, including field visibility and field order, across multiple sites for a consistent user experience.
Mobile app: Enhanced Delivery via Manifest Experience
This enhancement improves the Delivery via Manifest workflow in the mobile app by supporting administrator-configured field settings, required field validation, field value retention, and custom field ordering. These updates help ensure a more consistent and efficient delivery experience that aligns with organizational requirements.
The Deliver To screen now follows the settings configured in Input Field Options > Delivery via Manifest, displaying only the fields enabled by administrators and enforcing required fields where applicable. Core fields such as Given To, Status, and Location remain fixed and always visible, while additional fields, including Recipient/Department, Sender, Carrier, Carrier Service, Comment, PO Number, Cost Account, and Custom Fields, are displayed based on administrator preferences.
