Before you begin

You must have funds available in your PrePay account, or be using Purchase Power. Also, ensure you connect your franking machine to a SmartLink device, Communication device or PC Meter Connect to communicate with the Pitney Bowes Data Centre.

Add postage on your franking machine

Select your meter model from the list below for steps to add postage to your franking machine.

Add postage to your franking machine from Your Account

  1. Sign in to Your Account.
  2. Select Your Products and click Postage Meters.
  3. Select the Add Postage button for the required meter.
    • Important: If your meter is not connected to the internet this will not be available.

  4. A new window will appear, on this window you can see your current meter balance at the top left.

  5. Enter the amount you want to add to your meter.
  6. Click Add To Meter.
  7. Select Confirm Refill.
    • Important: Closing the window does not stop the transaction, please wait for the confirmation message before closing.

Check your available postage balance

  1. Sign in to Your Account.
  2. Select Billing & Financials and click Summary of Accounts.
  3. A consolidated balance for each account type appears: 
    • Purchase Power: View the Total Available Credit.
