Using a franking machine has long provided mailers with a series of major benefits over sending stamped mail.

In 2016 franking machine users continue to make savings.

There is now a 12p difference between the Royal Mail first class stamp and frank – if you’re sending as little as five letters per day throughout the year this could equal a difference of up to £150*.
For every second class letter sent, by using a frank as opposed to a stamp you will benefit from a 18p difference. This could be a difference in cost of up to £225* per year if you’re sending as little as five letters per day.

There is now a 11p difference between the Royal Mail first class stamp and frank – if you’re sending as little as five letters per day throughout the year this could equal a difference of up to £138*.
For every second class letter sent, by using a frank as opposed to a stamp you will benefit from a 15p difference. This could be a difference in cost of up to £189* per year if you’re sending as little as five letters per day.
