Issue
When using SendSuite® Live with the Pitney Bowes Shipping API carrier, and shipping Priority Mail with special service Registered Mail, the error message "Registered Mail selected, Declared Value Required" is displayed.
Cause
The system is hard coded for the special service Registered Mail to require a declared value, which automatically adds insurance. Registered and insurance are not supported by the Pitney Bowes Shipping API carrier.
Resolution
This issue must be resolved by a Pitney Bowes representative because the code that requires Registered Mail have a declared value must be removed. Contact software support for assistance.
