Issue
When shipping with carrier DHL Shipping API in SendSuite® Live, the following error message is displayed:
"Dutiable segment Declared Amount Warning Note! Shipment exceeded value limits for consignee country may require pre-approval and added transit time. Please contact your customer service representative."
Cause
ZIP codes are required for carrier DHL Shipping API, but the destination country does not use ZIP codes.
Resolution
As of Jan 16, 2016 a "Subdivision" is required for all countries which do not require a ZIP code. This is to help identify the delivery address.
Enter a valid subdivision in the State field.
Note: To validate addresses for DHL, go to dct.dhl.com.
