SendPro Online or PitneyShip scale shows the wrong weight

If the SendPro Online or PitneyShip scale shows the wrong weight, the scale needs to be zeroed.

The scale needs to be zeroed.

Select your software version

There are currently two versions of our shipping software. Click on the image that matches your Home screen to view the instructions for your version.

If using SendPro Online or PitneyShip in a web browser

  1. If your scale has a Zero button, click it.
  2. If your scale does not have a Zero button, install the SendPro Scale App:
  3. Once the SendPro Scale App is installed, right-click on the SendPro Scale App ("SP") icon in the system tray and select Zero Scale.

If using the SendPro Online software (SendPro Online or PitneyShip classic version only)

  1. In the SendPro Online software, click the gear icon and select Zero Scale.

  1. If your scale has a Zero button, click it.
  2. If your scale does not have a Zero button:
    1. Go to the Create Shipping Labels tab and select Box.
    2. Select a recipient address and select Next.
    3. Select Box.
    4. Select the Set scale to zero button.
